Regional Ambassador
Kandice Stehlik was the captain of her high school and college dance teams. She has competitively danced for 20 years and has been teaching the craft for 10 years. She recently graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Dance Performance. While attending UNT, she was the President of Chi Tau Epsilon, the university’s dance honor society, as well as hand picked by the dance faculty to represent the university as the dance ambassador. She has choreographed and also performed in numerous dance concerts during her collegiate career. She has also represented UNT as a performer at the American College Dance Festival for 2 consecutive years. She has trained under the direction of dancers from the Houston Ballet, Houston Metropolitan Dance Company, Diovolo Dance Troupe, Alvin Ailey, Bebe Miller and Jose Limon Dance Company. She is now teaching full time at Excite! Gym, Cheer and Dance in Highland Village, Texas.
