The 2011/12 Rules Interpretations and Dance Safety Judges Training Sessions held in the summer of 2011 were a huge success. 100 Dance Safety Judges were certified on the USASF Dance Rules in 5 cities nation wide. The number of certifications is a 70% increase from the prior season, demonstrating the positive investments in USASF Dance.
This is a classroom style course included a review of all dance category and division guidelines as well as a complete review of skills. The testing was done via 30 questions, 15 were written and 15 were a video rules interpretation review.
All USASF Member Event Producers are presented with a list of Certified Safety Judges. USASF dance is enthusiastic about the consistancy and legitimacy that Certified Dance Safety Judges will bring to these events.
